Catherine ‘Kate’ Thomas

I am a Registered Celebrant since 2007, I follow the Attorney General's Department Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants having conducted over 1200 marriages.

I have lived on the beautiful south coast of Western Australia for the past 35 years and have been married to Neil for 48 years. We have been blessed with wonderful sons, aged 43 and 41, and now also two very precious grandchildren.

My caring role and commitment to people during my career as a registered nurse of 45 years sharing their special moments - carries over into my role as a celebrant and I will always strive for the pursuit of excellence.

I am actively involved in the local community and am a previous winner of the Albany Community Citizen of the Year Award in 2019.

High standards and unique ceremonies

Acknowledging the importance of ritual in society, I will maintain a high standard of service and exercise creativity to ensure your special moments are commemorated by unique ceremonies, including –

  • Wedding Ceremonies

  • Renewal of Vows

  • Funeral & Memorials

  • Commitment Ceremonies

I am also available to assist with funerals and you may be assured that such occasions will be managed in a caring and compassionate manner.

As a Registered Celebrant, and assisting with Funerals, I see the Circle of Life the Watershed moments. I have assisted couples with their wedding, conducted a naming ceremony, and then again been invited to share in the funeral ceremony when a parent or grandparent dies – a most privileged role.

Success

is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in, day out.
